About Membership
BEA is a not-for-profit membership-based organisation that focuses on the development and recognition of organisations in their pursuit of Excellence. We aim to assist organisations to deliver positive performance and benefits to their stakholders for long-term sustainability.
Any profit we make is re-invested into services and advantages for members.

Indipendent
BEA is an independent organisation that does not favour any type of organisation over another. We assist all organisations on their own terms and help them interpret the Australian Business Excellence Framework (ABEF) to suit their needs.
BEA Family
Our evaluators assess organisations against the ABEF and receive a valuable “feedback” report with recommendations for improvement they can use for further development. A BEA evaluation is the most thorough and cost-effective input for your strategic planning process.
Trustworthy
We work with organisations to assist them to achieve their greater potential and respect confidentiality at all levels.
Networks
BEA has developed State-wide networks to support members and enable them to meet and discuss their progress and uncertainties using the ABEF. Evaluators and board members attend these meetings.

Learning
Members have access to many resources from formal training to platforms for mutual learning. BEA resources help members to develop their capability and learning about Excellence Models and related concepts.
Collaboration
BEA provides ready access to an Australian and international network of Excellence professionals as well opportunities to collaborate through both face to face and online forums.

Becoming a member of BEA demonstrates an individual's or organisation's commitment to Excellence and to making a contribution to the productivity and innovation of the Australian economy.
Ownership
Members are the custodians of the BEA constitution, its vision, purspose and strategic intent. Members provide governance to the Board of Directors and ensure continuous alignment adherence to the purpose.
