BEA is a not-for-profit membership-based organisation that focuses on the development and recognition of organisations in their pursuit of Excellence. Our purpose is to assist organisations to achieve best practice, continuous improvement and excellence to meet customer and stakeholder needs. Any profit we make is re-invested into services and advantages for members.

BEA is an independent organisation that does not favour any type of organisation over another. We are dedicated to fairness and inclusivity and believe that all organisations regardless of their size, sector or background will benefit from applying the ABEF according to their unique circumstances. All organisations are valued and supported by BEA in their pursuit of excellence.
Our evaluators assess organisations against the ABEF and compile a valuable “feedback” report containing key insights and recommendations for improvement which organisations can then use to enhance their systems and processes. BEA emphasises the value and effectiveness of the evaluation process as the most thorough and cost-effective way to achieve organisational growth and success.
We work with organisations to assist them to achieve their greater potential. We demonstrate a commitment to maintain the privacy and trust of our members and associates, and respect confidentiality at all levels.
BEA fosters a sense of community among its members through networking opportunities, knowledge-sharing forums, and collaborative initiatives. To achieve this, State-wide network learning groups have been established to support members to enable them to meet and discuss their progress and uncertainties using the ABEF. This is a demonstration of our commitment to increase membership value. Evaluators and board members attend these meetings.
